Official Rules of the "Student of 10" Campaign

Art. 1 - Organizers and Official Rules of the Campaign

1.1. The “Student of 10” Campaign, organized in connection with the UNTOLD 2026 festival edition, is organized and carried out by ENTERTAINMENT UNIVERSE ASSOCIATION, having its registered office in Cluj-Napoca Municipality, 122A G-ral Eremia Grigorescu Street, Cluj County, registered in the Register of Associations and Foundations pursuant to Civil Resolution No. 14780/2024 issued by the Cluj-Napoca District Court in Case No. 20826/211/2024, represented by its President, Ferenț Sebastian-Dorel, in partnership with UNTOLD LIVE S.R.L., a Romanian legal entity with its registered office in Cluj-Napoca, 122A G-ral Eremia Grigorescu Street, Cluj County, registered with the Trade Register under No. J2025054909000, VAT Registration No. RO52210790, and UNTOLD PRODUCTION S.R.L., a Romanian legal entity with its registered office in Cluj-Napoca, 122A G-ral Eremia Grigorescu Street, Cluj County, registered with the Trade Register under No. J2021005129129, European Unique Identifier (EUID) ROONRC.J12/5129/2021, having Tax Registration Code RO45114420 (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Event Organizers”).

1.2. The decision to conduct the Campaign according to the rules of these Regulations (hereinafter referred to as the "Official Regulations") is final and binding on the Participants.

1.3. The participants in the Campaign are obliged to comply with the terms and conditions of these Official Campaign Regulations (hereinafter referred to as the "Official Regulations").

1.4. The Official Rules are available free of charge to any interested person, at any time during the Campaign, by accessing the festival website www.untold.com the dedicated section.

1.5. The Organizer reserves the right to complete and/or amend the Official Regulations, the completion and/or modification to be made public in the manner provided for in art. 1, para. (4). 

 

Art. 2 – Legal basis

2.1. The campaign is organized in accordance with the provisions of the Government Ordinance no. 99/2000, regarding the marketing of products and services on the updated market and in accordance with the relevant legislation. 

 

Art. 3 – Territory and duration of the Campaign

3.1. The Campaign is organized and runs from 30 July 2026 until 5 August 2026. It will take place on the territory of Romania, through the website: www.untold.com, and will also be announced on the official Instagram and Facebook social media pages of UNTOLD.

Art. 4 - Right to participate/ Eligibility

4.1.  The following categories of persons may register for participation in the Campaign:

1.              Students enrolled at public universities in Romania who can provide proof that they obtained a cumulative grade point average of 10 following the completion of the examinations held during the summer examination session (Semester II) of the 2026 academic year. The first 200 students to register through the form available on untold.com shall be entitled to receive free access to the UNTOLD Festival 2026 Edition (General Access area); 

2.         Students enrolled at public universities in Romania who have successfully passed the examinations held during the summer examination session (Semester II) of the 2026 academic year; 

3.         Proof of enrollment for the examination session and of the cumulative grade point average shall be provided by the students by means of a certificate issued by the University's Registrar's Office or through the University's online platform (e.g., a document generated through the Academicinfo platform).

4.2. Entries that do not comply with the above conditions and the provisions of these Regulations will not be considered and will be eliminated.

4.2. Registrations that do not comply with the above conditions and the provisions of these Official Rules shall not be taken into consideration and shall be disqualified.

4.3. Any error and/or omission regarding the personal data provided by the Participant to the Organizer does not entail the latter's liability, the accuracy of the contact details provided by the Participants being their sole responsibility.

4.4. Entries submitted under the following conditions will not be taken into consideration:

-                If they are submitted outside the registration period, according to Article 3 above;

-                If they have been carried out through fraud attempts or by any other means and/or electronic and/or software equipment than those indicated by the Organizer, or have been carried out in breach of any of the conditions and terms of the Regulation;

-                They are not related to the nature and purpose of the Campaign, as detailed in these Regulations.

 

Art. 5 - Mechanism of the Campaign and Method of registration in the Campaign

5.1. In order to participate in this Campaign, Participants must comply with the following procedure:

  1. The Participant must be eligible to participate in accordance with the provisions of Art. 4 above; 
  2. The registration and participation procedure differs depending on whether the Participant obtained a cumulative grade point average of 10 following the summer examination session of the 2026 academic year or simply passed all examinations during the summer examination session, as follows: 

a) Participant who passed all examinations during the summer examination session. To participate in the Campaign, a Participant who has successfully passed all examinations during the summer examination session, regardless of the final average grade, must register in the "Student of 10" Campaign section on the Untold website, provide the following identification details: first name, last name and e-mail address, and submit proof of participation in the 2026 summer examination session (certificate confirming successful completion of the summer examination session issued by the University or proof issued through the Academic Info platform, from which the Personal Numerical Code (CNP) has been removed by any method ensuring that it cannot be identified, for example by permanently covering it with a marker).

b) Participant who passed the summer examination session with a cumulative grade point average of 10. To participate in the Campaign, a Participant who obtained a cumulative grade point average of 10 following the successful completion of the summer examination session must register in the "Student of 10" Campaign section on the Untold website by providing the following identification details: first name, last name, e-mail address, together with proof of obtaining the cumulative grade point average of 10 (certificate issued by the University confirming successful completion of the summer examination session with a cumulative grade point average of 10, or proof issued through the Academic Info platform, from which the Personal Numerical Code (CNP) has been removed by any method ensuring that it cannot be identified, for example by permanently covering it with a marker). Registrations shall be validated in the order in which they are received, within the limit of 200 available places, in accordance with Art. 4.1 point 1.

 

Art. 6 - Award and Awarding

6.1. The prize consists of: 

a) a EUR 40 discount voucher for the purchase of a General Access pass to the UNTOLD Festival 2026 Edition. This prize shall be awarded to Participants who sat and successfully passed all examinations during the 2026 summer examination session, regardless of the grades obtained. The voucher shall be delivered electronically (unique discount code sent by e-mail) and shall be redeemed directly by the Winner on the website www.untold.com in the ticket purchase section, no later than 6 August 2026 (the opening day of the Festival).

b) one 4-day General Access pass to the UNTOLD Festival 2026 Edition, limited to 200 passes (awarded to the first 200 students who register), for Participants who passed the 2026 summer examination session with a cumulative grade point average of 10. The General Access pass shall be delivered electronically (electronic ticket/unique access code sent by e-mail) and shall be validated upon entry to the Festival in accordance with the standard access procedure applicable to all holders of UNTOLD electronic tickets.

6.2. The Winners (both those receiving the EUR 40 voucher and those receiving the General Access pass) shall be notified by e-mail as soon as possible following validation of their registration, but no later than 5 August 2026. The prize shall be sent to the e-mail address provided by the Participant together with the winning notification.

6.3. The total value of the prizes is calculated based on the number of eligible Participants registered in the Campaign. Based on the previous year's participation, the estimated total value of the prizes is RON 363,304.

6.4. Participants in the Campaign are not subject to any additional direct or indirect expenses. The cash value of the voucher or subscription obtained within this Campaign cannot be granted, respectively this voucher cannot be exchanged or other prizes offered. 

6.5. By participating in the Campaign and the Festival, the Participants expressly and unequivocally express their consent to be photographed and filmed by the organizer within the Festival, in order to further promote it by any means.

 

Art. 7 – Responsibility

7.1. The Organizer does not assume responsibility and will not be named as a party to any dispute regarding the ownership of the benefits granted within the Campaign.

7.2. The Organizer is entitled to take all necessary measures in case of attempted fraud of the system, abuse or any other attempts that could affect the image of this Campaign.

7.3. The Campaign Organizer shall have no liability and shall not be involved in any dispute related to the ownership or ownership of the Prize received, as well as in relation to any additional expenses incurred by the Participant in connection with this Campaign.

7.4. In the event of uncertainty regarding the validity of the documents sent by the participants, in order to register for this campaign, the organizer's decision is final. The organizer does not assume responsibility for: 

·        No errors in the data provided by the participants; the lack of correctness of the contact details does not entail the responsibility of the Organizer, it being the sole responsibility of the Participants to ensure that they have been mentioned correctly.

·        Blocking the Participant's email address or any irregularity regarding it;

·        Situations in which certain persons registered in the Campaign are unable to participate in the Campaign or do not meet the conditions of the Campaign, if this inability or non-fulfillment of the conditions is due to circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer;

·        Any disputes between Participants relating to the rights to e-mail addresses.

·        Impossibility of a Participant to benefit from the prize due to non-compliance in full with the Campaign Regulations and or due to the name and/or surname and/or erroneous data transmitted.

7.5. These circumstances may be due to: erroneous, incomplete, interrupted, or delayed information due to the Participants, non-functioning / malfunction of the e-mail, either in the case of the Organizer or in the case of the Participant, caused by technical problems and/or heavy traffic on the website.

7.6. The Participants expressly, unequivocally and definitively accept all decisions adopted by the Organizer regarding the organization and conduct of the Campaign and the Prizes awarded, as well as the subsequent calendar of the Campaign or other changes related to the implementation of the Campaign. 

7.7. All disputes regarding the right of ownership of the prizes will not influence the principle according to which the Contest Organizer will award the prizes to persons who comply with the provisions of these Official Regulations. From the moment the winner receives the prize, the Organizer is released from any obligation towards the Participant

 

Art. 8 - Disputes and applicable law

8.1. Any disputes arising between the Organizer, on the one hand, and any of the Participants, on the other hand, will be resolved amicably or, if this is not possible, the disputes will be settled by the competent court in the municipality of Cluj-Napoca, at the Organizer's headquarters, in accordance with the common law.

8.2. The applicable law is Romanian law

 

Art. 9 – Fees and Taxes

9.1. The Organizer undertakes to withhold and remit any tax due on income consisting of the Prizes awarded to Winners who are tax residents of Romania, in accordance with the provisions of Article 110(1) of the Romanian Fiscal Code approved by Law No. 227/2015, as subsequently amended and supplemented. For Winners who are not Romanian tax residents, the taxation of the Prizes shall be carried out in accordance with the tax legislation applicable to them, and any related reporting or payment obligations shall be their sole responsibility. The Organizer shall not assume responsibility for the fulfillment of such obligations outside the framework of Romanian law.

 

Art. 10. – Processing of personal data

10.1. Who carries out the processing? The personal data of the participants to the Campaign will be processed by the Organizer in compliance with the applicable legislation, in particular the EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (“GDPR”). 

10.2. Categories of personal data processed within the Campaign: Name, surname, and e-mail address.

10.3. The purpose of the processing is strictly related to the running of the competition (organization and running, designation and validation of the winners, awarding of prizes, as well as the fulfilment of the organizer's fiscal and financial accounting obligations). The data will thus be processed for the purposes of running the campaign in accordance with the mechanism described in the Regulation (the latter representing the “contract” between the organizer and the participants who have voluntarily entered) or for the performance of legal obligations incumbent on the controller (e.g. fulfilling tax obligations).

10.4. Legal basis for processing: 

a) The performance of the contract represented by the terms and conditions established by the Regulation and deemed accepted as a result of participation. 

b) Legitimate interest of the operator in connection with the organization of contests/promoted campaigns and for the defense of the rights and interests of the operator. 

c) fulfilment of the applicable legal requirements for the calculation, declaration and awarding of prizes.

Personal data is necessary for us to participate in the contest and to carry out the contest as far as the participant is concerned. A possible refusal to provide personal data entails the impossibility to participate in the contest, in the various phases in which a refusal may occur.

10.5. The period of storage of personal data is carried out according to the Untold Privacy Policy.

10.6. As the communication of this campaign is carried out through the Instagram and Facebook platforms, participants can consult the following pages for details on the processing of personal data https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388 and https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.

10.7. Participants have, in relation to the operator/its agents, the rights conferred by law, namely the right to information, the right of access to data, the right to intervene on data, the right to object to the collection and processing of personal data, the right not to be subject to an individual decision and the right to apply to the courts and/or the National Supervisory Authority for the Processing of Personal Data. Art. 11 – Termination of the campaign

11.1. This Campaign may terminate in the event of an event that constitutes force majeure, including in the event of the Organizer's impossibility, for reasons beyond its control, to continue the Campaign.

11.2. Force majeure, agreed as the unforeseeable and irrepressible event, occurring after the entry into force of these Official Regulations and which prevents the party or parties from fulfilling their contractual obligations, exonerates the party invoking it from liability, during the existence of the force majeure event.

11.3. If a situation of force majeure, including the impossibility of the Organizer for reasons beyond its control, prevents or delays totally or partially the execution of the Official Regulations and the continuation of the Campaign, the Organizer will be exonerated from liability for the fulfillment of its obligations for the period in which this fulfillment will be prevented or delayed, according to art. 1082 and 1083 of the Civil Code. 12.4. In case of invoking force majeure, the Organizer is obliged to communicate its existence to the participants in the Campaign, within 5 (five) working days from the occurrence of the force majeure case.              

 

Art. 12 - Other Clauses

12.1. The Organizer's decisions regarding the campaign are final and applicable to all Participants.

12.2. The prize not awarded will remain in the possession of the Organizer, who may freely dispose of them in the manner he deems necessary or appropriate to his interests.

12.3. The Organizer is entitled to take all necessary measures in case of attempted fraud of the system, abuse or any other attempts that could affect the image or costs involved in the organization and conduct of the Campaign.
